And we know that God
causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who
are called according to His purpose. - Romans 8:28
In counseling about this verse I’ve said something like, “I wish I
knew how this works; I don’t. I just know that because God said it, it works.”
We do not have to know how God works things out. Faith tells us He just does.
Think back to the last time something went “wrong” for you. Did God use it in
some small way to see yourself or someone else differently? To have you take a
step of faith toward Him? There are innumerable ways He can use something for
the good of those who love Him.
