Vain Ways

"For from the rising of the sun even to its setting, My name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense is going to be offered to My name, and a grain offering that is pure; for My name will be great among the nations," says the LORD of hosts. - Malachi 1:11, NASB

Here are three ways our society has decided NOT to honor God’s name. Can you add to it?

• Any use of “O my gosh!”
• The name of His Son as an exclamation as in “Gees!”
• Ascribing holiness in a profane way as in, “Holy s***!”

I like a statement I first heard from another pastor, “Heck is where you go when you don’t know Gosh.”
