I am afraid of heights. Knowing this, my Army commander in
Panama called me out to be the first to do some rappelling training. The perhaps
30-foot tower appeared to me like a 30-story building, but he was a colonel and
I a master sergeant, so I went first. Fearfully.
A few months later, I became a believer in Jesus and to this
day trust Him for my salvation. He is now my strong tower and when I am fearful, I know can and have run to Him.
