Shameful

You alone are the LORD.
You have made the heavens,
The heaven of heavens with all their host,
The earth and all that is on it,
The seas and all that is in them.
You give life to all of them
And the heavenly host bows down before You. - Nehemiah 9:6

The angels (heavenly host) worship God because He created everything. Isn’t it shameful that much of God’s highest creation, man, has learned to ignore God? Refocus your life on Him. Worship Him for His creation.

Bless the Lord

Arise, bless the LORD your God forever and ever! O may Your glorious name be blessed And exalted above all blessing and praise! - Nehemiah 9:5

At the dedication of the rebuilt temple the priests first command the people to bless the Lord and them immediately do so themselves. When was the last time you praised God just because? Why not try doing so several times today? Just because.
