For the LORD takes pleasure in His people;
He will beautify the afflicted ones with salvation.
Psalm 149:4, NASB
God is perfect. Compared to Him – because we sin, get ill, age, and die – we are afflicted. Still, He takes joy in providing for us that which the human spirit most needs – salvation. Praise Him for that this morning.
