When God Says "No"

How great you are, O Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears. - 2 Samuel 7:22, NIV

These words were spoken by David. He’s just heard from God through the prophet Nathan that he is not to build God’s temple; his son/successor will have that privilege. Even when God says “no” to something you plan, you need to acknowledge his uniqueness and His sovereignty.
