No Fear T-shirts were very popular in the mid-1990s. The shirts feature existential slogans or quotes that tout the virtues of extreme sports. But the only aspect of life in which there should be truly “no fear” is in a believer’s relationship with Christ. Through Scripture God says, “Do not be afraid,” or “Fear not,” or “Do not let your hearts be troubled.” Loving God truly brings “no fear.”
