Anti-cultism

For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. - 2 Corinthians 4:5, NIV

Every major cult I am familiar with has gone astray because they believed the leader was the “Messiah”; the leader had preached about himself and led sometimes hundreds away from Jesus. When we preach ourselves as servants for Jesus’ sake our preaching is accurate.
