Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. - 1 Peter 5:6-7, NIV
Many people grow up thinking God is mad with them because of sin and that He could never love them. In fact, God loves them and wants them to spend eternity with Him. The believer comes to the point of humbling herself so that God can do His greatest work in her. The believer learns to trust God with cares and anxieties; giving them over to God. I pray you are learning humility and casting.
