Have you ever had to ask others to pray for you so desperately? Paul felt the need. It is never wrong to ask another Christian to help you by praying. Both you and those you ask will benefit for it is a privilege to pray and to be prayed for.
Even when you don't know how to pray, "In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings to deep for words." Romans 8:26 .
