When Jesus had said this, He became troubled in spirit, and testified and said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, that one of you will betray Me.” -John 13:21
Jesus was troubled that one of His own disciples was about to betray Him. Extend that to today. You are His disciple. When you deny (a form of betrayal) Jesus because you are afraid of what others might think or say, do you think He is troubled? I have troubled the Savior too often. Let’s confess this sin and become the salt and light the world needs.
