Seek good, and not evil, that you may live; and so the LORD, the God of hosts, will be with you, as you have said. - Amos 5:14
We say we love God, yet gossip. We say we are Christian yet tell lies. Amos reminds us that instead of saying, we should be doing—actively seeking good for others instead of for ourselves. How about this? Instead of ignoring someone today, find a way to help him or her. The response may surprise you. (And I would love to hear back on the results.)
