Isa 42:6 "I am the LORD; I have called you in righteousness; I will take you by the hand and keep you; I will give you as a covenant for the people, a light for the nations,
Through Isaiah God reminds exiled Israelite of His promise to keep and hold them and that the promise of salvation would be made through them. He made that covenant with them centuries earlier through Abraham and intends to keep it despite their circumstances. His promises are good and will come true no matter what. Trust Him with your life.
