DNF

Do not fear, for I am with you;
Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God
 I will strengthen you, surely I will help you,
Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
- Isaiah 41:10

To those faithful within Israel these would be comforting words. Despite the prophesied exile of the entire nation, God will continue to protect those who are dedicated to Him—the “you” here is plural referring to the nation as a whole. Jesus has the same promise for us: I tell you, my friends, do not fear those who kill the body, and after that have nothing more that they can do (Luke 12:4)—“my friends” are not just those gathered but those of us “listening” in as well. God’s promises of protection go beyond the physical protection; He meets our spiritual needs as well. Turn to Him with every need.
