God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea… --Psalms 46:1-2, ESV
These verses remind you that no matter what comes your way God will sustain you and be with you. The psalm starts with encouragement in times of natural disaster but goes on to speak of man made troubles as well. Near the end are these words from God, "Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!" (v.10) The life you lead is not about making you happy or satisfied. It’s about glorifying God.
