O God of my praise, Do not be silent! For they have opened the wicked and deceitful mouth against me; They have spoken against me with a lying tongue. - Psalm 109:1-2
David, who wrote this psalm, praises God so often that he addresses God as the one he praises. Here he asks that same God to set Himself between himself and his enemies. God promises to do that for us as well. He is our sure protector of all who love him. Your enemies cannot go against God’s will.
