Mat 6:24 No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.
The point Jesus makes seems pretty clear and straight forward, as are most of His teachings. So why do we not obey? Why do we try to serve God while stepping over people to get our way? Why do we worship God and work hard on being accepted by people who are not Christians? We cannot serve to masters, but we try. Stop. Think and pray. Refocus you energies correctly.
