Work!

Therefore they said to Him, “What shall we do, so that we may work the works of God?” Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.”
– John 6:28-29

The people are asking what they can do to please God and Jesus gives them a surprising answer. He tells them to believe “in” Him, the One sent by God. He’s laid out for all mankind His purpose in coming – His death for the forgiveness of our sins – we need only believe that it is true. Do you know someone who still needs to trust? Pray that the Father will give him or her the same faith He’s given you.
