God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble. - Psalm 46:1

Over the last two+ weeks it has repeatedly crossed my mind that despite my grief and sorrow and the sympathy for my daughter in the sudden loss of her husband, God has sustained us. I have cried in sorrow and wept with and for my daughter and her girls. I have also cried out the “Why” question to our sovereign God. His desire, however, may be that we never learn the why, and instead, that we learn to trust Him anyway. For His people, He promises safety, strength, and help. Are you among “His people”?
