Struggling Loser

Your lovingkindness [mercy], O LORD, extends to the heavens,
Your faithfulness reaches to the skies. - Psalm 36:5, NASB [KJV]

I have been relying on this verse quite a bit since I heard of my son-in-law’s untimely death two weeks ago. As I told my daughter yesterday, I have struggled with God about the “why” question but I always lose when I struggle with God. He is sovereign and owes no man an explanation. While at the same time He provides the struggler with His mercy and faithfulness. What an awesome God we serve.
