Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up your hand; forget not the afflicted. --Psalms 10:12
As David, we often see people suffering and wonder why God allows it to happen and continue. In Psalm 10, David acknowledges that God knows what He is doing (sovereignty), and will take care of both the afflicted and wicked (judgment). We too must participate in protecting the afflicted. Pray for God’s wisdom in this matter and stand up for what is right. Always.
