Heart Issue

If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless. --James 1:26

Our relationship with Jesus is a “heart” issue. Religion is a show. Using “heart: the New Testament writers refer to the true personality of the person as opposed to what can be known about him otherwise. We know a person best not by what he says, but by what he does. Saying you are a Christian but living a worldly life does not show me or others that you truly are. What does your life show me? What does it show the world?
